WAKES WEEK
Commissioned by the Central Library of Manchester for an evening of Art about Wakes week and the Industrial Revolution, this 8channel piece was composed with the specific performance space in mind. The Manchester Library dome (reading room) is a very unique acoustic space in the way echo's and reverberation alters the sound. The recorded piece has an ambisonic convolution reverb added with the impulse response of the dome, in attempt to recreate how it sounded within the space, this was also used to 'predict' the final sound when composing in studio.
